V/A - The Emo Diaries

Los que leyeron POST de Eric Grubbs, deben haberse empapado un poco en la historia del post-hardcore de inicios de los 90's, no era como el post-hardcore de hoy. Era más que todo música, y mensaje. Priorizando los valores que el hardcore y el punk perdieron a lo largo de su trayectoria: Autogestión, Pasión, Amistad. Que evidentemente el post-hardcore de hoy también ha perdido de acuerdo a la popularidad y protagonismo ansias de fama por parte de las bandas / sellos que fueron tomando debido a la acogida que se le dió.

The Emo Diaries, no es una, es la mejor serie de Compilatorios jamás antes hecho. Con hasta ahora 11 discos, 134 canciones por 134 bandas, entre las que resaltan nombres como Jimmy Eat World, The Appleseed Cast, Samiam, Pohgoh, Strike Force, Further Seems Forever, Aina, The White Octave, Chasing Victory, My Name Is Nobody, Last Days Of April y muchísimas más.

Una serie que incluye canciones inéditas de cada banda, desde España a Suiza, pasando por Canadá, Estados Unidos, Inglaterra, Italia, Suecia, Noruega, Holanda, Brasil, Japón y hasta Israel. Lanzado por el sello independiente Deep Elm Records, y considerada toda una joya del emo rock, post-hardcore.

Screamo Room Presents...vol.1

Recuerdo que este disco me lo baje audio por audio via un programa p2p.
Al final del día, logré conseguir todos los audios después de una larga jornada ( en ese entonces no conocía slsk)

ahora si : "Screamo Room Presents...Vol1" es un compilatorio creado por el room screamo del Soulseek (slsk - un programa p2p) que engloba bandas de este género, de diversas partes del mundo : Francia, Alemania, Japón, EE.UU, Chile, etc.

Particularmente, este disco me ha encantado, por la variedad de sonidos que podemos encontrar, todos unidos por una misma pasión, la cual se siente desde que empiezas a escuchar el primer track, hasta el final, el cual es demasiado trágico.
